From his earliest days as a financial advisor, Philip Board has been committed to serving clients with care, offering personalized attention shaped by lessons from his father and delivered with humility and humor. Philip founded 1on1 Financial to bring that commitment to life, growing the firm from a one-person boutique into a full-service practice with a team of professionals.

Philip's investment philosophy is tactical and proactive, fully committed to adapting as the economic climate changes.

He earned a Master of Science in Financial Services and the Certified Fund Specialist designation from the Institute of Business and Finance (IBF) in La Jolla, CA. Philip also holds credentials in advanced estate planning and retirement income planning, both from IBF. He is licensed in life and health insurance and holds Series 7, 63, 65, and 24 registrations with Centaurus Securities, Inc. Philip is frequently invited to train other financial advisors across the country on using technology to be more effective and client centric. He is also a published author.

Philip enjoys spending time with his wife, Patricia, and their two daughters, adopted from China. His favorite pastimes include road and mountain biking, snow skiing, and scuba diving. He is an active member of his community, having served two terms as President of the Upland Foothill Kiwanis, and remains active in raising money for cancer research.
