When the markets are as unstable and confusing as they have been over the past several years, even the most patient investors may come to question the wisdom of the investment strategy they have been following.
Not only that, but life changes may have come your way, altering your financial priorities. You may be curious about different financial approaches, or you just want to make sure that your current plan is still the best one for you. To stay committed to your plan, you need to have complete confidence that it is still working for you and helping you reach your goals.
If this is what you’ve been thinking about, here’s what I would like to offer: A cup of coffee and a second opinion.
A Financial Plan Review
You’re welcome to come in and sit down with us for a while. I will ask you to outline your financial goals briefly and review your current plan/401k/investment portfolio/insurance, etc. so that I know where you stand and where you want to be. My highest priority is you and your goals, so I want to ensure that we are on the same page when it comes to your objectives.
I can answer any questions you may have about the market, strategies, or basic financial tips and principles. Then, we can apply your concerns, ideas and aims to your current plan to see if everything lines up.
It Never Hurts to Ask
Once I have an overview of your financial picture, we will be able to reevaluate and readjust. If I think that all aspects of your portfolio continue to be well suited to your long-term goals despite the market turmoil, I’ll gladly tell you so and send you on your way.
If on the other hand, if I think your plan no longer fits your goals, I’ll explain why, in plain English. And, if you’d like, I can recommend some alternatives. It may be that minor adjustments are needed based on your age, current economic status, or a change in priorities and plans.
It never hurts to take a second look at your financial plan to ensure that it is up-to-date, still applicable to all aspects of your life, and ideally suited to achieve your long-term dreams. Regardless of the outcome of our second look, you can feel more confident in your decisions and in your financial plan.
Either way, the coffee is on me!
Let me help you evaluate where you are now, determine where you would like to go, and address any gaps that may be apparent. Contact me at 909-981-1720 so we can arrange a convenient time and place for us to meet.
